$114,000 in penalties ordered against CFMMEU and two officials after disrupting works on the Pacific Hwy upgrade

The Federal Circuit and Family Court has penalised the CFMMEU and two of its officials $114,660 for hindering and obstructing contractors during construction of the $4.9 billion Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade project near Grafton in northern New South Wales.

CFMMEU official accused of threatening and abusive behaviour at NSW construction site

The ABCC has commenced legal action against the CFMMEU and its official, Arron Platt, alleging that the official used threatening and offensive language towards site management while exercising his right of entry at the Woolworths Warehouse and Distribution Centre project in Auburn, New South Wales.
