Contact FWO for matters related to wages and entitlements

The Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) handles all wages and entitlement matters, including those related to the building and construction industry.

FWO has specialist expertise in dealing with these matters. FWO offers information, resources and dispute resolution assistance for employees and employers covered by the Fair Work system.

FWBC refers any matters related to wages and entitlement to FWO, allowing FWBC to focus on its core business of regulating coercion, freedom of association, unlawful industrial action and breaches of right of entry.

This formal arrangement has been in place since late 2013 and it reflects the practise for dealing with wages and entitlement matters that existed prior to October 2010.

In 2014/15, FWBC made nearly 500 referrals to FWO.
