You cannot coerce a person to:
- vote for or against an enterprise agreement
- take industrial action
- engage or not engage a building employee or contractor.
Code covered entities must not coerce others:
- in exercising their security of payment rights
- to provide above-entitlement payments
- to contribute to a particular fund or scheme.
It’s unlawful for an employer, fellow employee or a union to coerce an employee to exercise, or not exercise, their workplace rights. You cannot coerce a person to:
