What the ABCC can assist with
The ABCC is responsible for ensuring cooperative, productive and harmonious workplace relations in the building industry. It does this by enforcing workplace relations laws in the building and construction industry and ensuring compliance with those laws by all participants in the building and construction industry through the provision of education, assistance and advice.
What the ABCC cannot assist with
The ABCC does not have jurisdiction over Work Health & Safety (WHS) related matters. A list of Federal, State and Territory bodies that may be able to provide assistance with WHS issues is available on our Work Health & Safety page.
Issues and disputes related to domestic building, as well as licencing and permits, are managed by local State and Territory authorities.
