During the 2013-14 financial year compliance powers were exercised in respect of four examinations. The examinations related to two separate investigations. Both investigations were still ongoing as at 30 June 2014.

Table 2.15 sets out a state-by-state breakdown of examinations and reveals that over the past financial year, Victoria and Queensland were the only states in which examinations were conducted.

Table 2.16 shows that of the four examinations conducted in 2013-14, two of the witnesses were classified as ‘employees’ and two were classified as ‘management’.
