Site visits are a vital part of FWBC’s education strategy. The Field Operations team proactively conduct site visits to explain the role of FWBC and assist industry participants to understand their rights and responsibilities.

During FWBC’s first week of operations, Fair Work Building Industry Inspectors visited major sites to introduce themselves and explain the role of FWBC.

In the reporting period, Fair Work Building Industry Inspectors made 316 site visits, all of which were proactive.

One hundred and seventy-one site visits were made to National Code companies routinely involved in Government work. All were proactive.

Table 2.5 sets out a state-by-state breakdown of site visits. Approximately one-third of site visits were conducted in Victoria and one-third conducted in WA.
