During the reporting period, the ABCC conducted 51 penalty proceedings before the courts. Eighteen of these were commenced between 1 July 2011 and 31 May 2012.
Twenty-eight cases were completed in the reporting period, twenty-five of those were successful.
Twenty-five proceedings were ongoing as at 31 May 2012.
Penalties imposed
In 2011-12, the Courts imposed a total of $1,235,900 in penalties, as shown in Table 2.25.
