Under Senate Continuing Order No. 12, all government agencies are required to provide an indexed list of all relevant files created by the agency.
Relevant files that are required to be listed include files relating to the policy advising functions of the agency, such as the development of legislation and other matters of public administration.
The list does not include:
- files transferred to the National Archives of Australia
- case-related files (e.g. personal representations or dealing with personal affairs of agency clients or taxpayers)
- files essentially related to the internal administration of the agency (e.g. staff or personnel matters).
For the period 1 July 2019 to 31 December 2019 there were no files to report.
