The Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005 (BCII Act) contains powers in sections 52 – 56 that enable the ABCC to require a person to provide information, documents and/or give evidence under oath or by way of affirmation. These compliance powers have been in effect since 1 October 2005.
