On 17 June 2009 the Minister for Education, Employment and Workplace Relations Julia Gillard directed the ABC Commissioner to produce a report on the allocation of ABCC resources. The direction was issued pursuant to section 12 of the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005.
