On 2 August 2010 ABC Commissioner John Lloyd made the following comments with regards to the findings of the investigation into the "blue flu" incident in Perth.
ABC Commissioner John Lloyd: My report serves to educate the workers, the union, building industry participants and the public that the blue flu is not acceptable practice.
