CBI Constructors Pty Ltd, PCH Group Ltd, Modern Industries (WA) Pty Ltd, RCR Maintenance Pty Ltd and Downer RMC Pty Ltd applied for orders under s.127 of the Workplace Relations Act 1996 regarding industrial action at the Burrup Fertiliser Project. The industrial action was taken in response to alleged OH&S issues.
The ABCC intervened in the proceedings on 2 February and during the course of those proceedings the parties resolved the matters in dispute following a conciliation conference chaired by DP McCarthy.
