Temple v Cartledge

Applicant:
ABCC inspector Mark Temple
Respondent(s):
Aaron Cartledge
Date filed:
17 September 2010
Outcome:

The application was withdrawn on 24 February 2011.  The respondent acknowledged that his behaviour was improper and could be relied upon in a subsequent application to Fair Work Australia if he contravened any right of entry provisions during 2011

Background:

The ABCC applied to Fair Work Australia to have CFMEU official Aaron Cartledge’s permit revoked.

It is alleged Mr Cartledge abused the right of entry system on 23 March 2009 at the CMI Toyota showroom project and on 31 August 2009 at the Adelaide Oval construction project.

The ABCC seeks the suspension or revocation of Mr Cartledge’s entry permit.
