Accountability


A number of public accountability processes require the ABCC to report regularly on its operations. These are detailed below, as are the ABCC’s people, leadership and diversity policies.

Client Satisfaction Survey

The ABCC conducts client surveys to ensure a high level of service to the building and construction industry is maintained.

Statement of Legal Expenditure

In accordance with the Legal Service Directions 2005, the ABCC is required to report annually on its legal services purchasing and make records of its legal services expenditure publicly available.

Contract Listing

In accordance with the Senate order on agency contracts, the ABCC reports on contracts entered into which provide for a consideration to the value of $100,000 or more.

Requesting a review

If you believe that a decision has been made relating to an ABCC investigation that affects you was not correct, then you can request a review.

File Listing (Harradine motion)

All government agencies including the ABCC are required by Senate Continuing Order No. 10 to provide an index list of all relevant files created by the agency.

ABCC People and Leadership Statement

The People and Leadership Statement is designed to guide people management strategies and practices in the ABCC.

Reconciliation Action Plan

The ABCC’s Reconciliation Action Plan focuses on improving employment outcomes for Indigenous staff.

Workplace Diversity Plan

The ABCC's Workplace Diversity Guidelines detail how the ABCC aims to foster a productive and supportive workforce that provides equal opportunities for all employees.

Occupational Health and Safety

The ABCC maintains a focus on workplace safety, which underpins all aspects of day-to-day operations.
